Violinist Laurel Gagnon is selected as the winner of the 1st annual LRSO Concerto Competition for high school students. On November 6, 2010, Laurel will be the LRSO's featured soloist performing Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D Major.

The LRSO, based in Meredith, New Hampshire, is a non-profit community orchestra providing the best classical music performances for central New Hampshire. Orchestra members - your friends and neighbors - range in age from teenagers through retired seniors, representing over 35 communities in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
