Thank You! Your talent and
dedication are what makes the LRSO possible. Thank you
for your dedication and contributions to the organization.
Rehearsals. Rehearsals begin
Monday September 11, 2006 and continue through the December
concert. Rehearsals resume in January and continue through
the May concert. There are no rehearsals during regular
New Hampshire school vacation weeks. Unless otherwise
noted, all rehearsals are held at the Inter-lakes Community
Auditorium in Meredith, from 7-9pm.
Repertoire. Rehearsals from
September through December include material from the March
and May concerts in addition to the Holiday concert material.
Be Prompt. Allow yourself at
least ten minutes to unpack your instrument and warm up,
so that rehearsals can begin on time.
Attendance. If you expect to be late, or need
to miss a rehearsal, please contact Ben. You are allowed to miss
2 rehearsals per concert. Should you have
to miss a concert, inform Ben as far in advance as possible,
so that a replacement can be found.
Dress Rehearsals. Please anticipate a dress rehearsal
at 4pm on each evening concert date. Exceptions may occur
due to soloist availability and travel, so we appreciate
your flexibility if the date changes.
Concert Dress Men. Black tuxedo, white shirt,
black bow-tie, black shoes, black socks.
Concert Dress Women. Black dress or pants, black
shoes and stockings.
Concert Stage Presence. No water bottles or other drinks on stage for performances. Required instrument accessories (mutes, stands, cello straps) should not be brightly colored or distracting.
