The LRSO is pleased to announce it's THIRD annual concerto competition for talented high school musicians in the Lakes Region.

The winner will perform with the Orchestra in the November 2012 concert and will receive a $300 cash prize. Second and Third Place winners will receive $200 and $100 cash prizes respectively.

• Competition is open to high school students in grades 8 - 11
• Repertoire is the first, or preferably a fast movement, from the standard orchestral repertoire
• Application deadline is January 30, 2012
• Deadline for submitting audition recordings (mail CD or Email mp3) is February 24, 2011
• Audition recordings will be reviewed, and if applicable students will be invited to a live audition in mid-to-late April, 2012.
• The winner will be announced in April, 2012
