The LRSO is pleased to announce it's first annual concerto competition for talented high school musicians in the Lakes Region. The winner will perform with the Orchestra in the November 2010 concert and will receive a $200 cash prize.

• Competition is open to high school students in grades 9 - 11
• Repertoire is the first, or preferably a fast movement, from the standard orchestral repertoire
• Application deadline is December 31, 2009
• Deadline for submitting audition recordings is February 15, 2010
• Audition recordings will be reviewed, and if applicable students will be invited to a live audition in the March, 2010.
• The winner will be announced in April, 2010
